Beyaz perdenin unutulmaz kahramanlar\u0131 Frodo ve Harry Potter&#8217;\u0131n defalarca hayat\u0131n\u0131 kurtaran pelerinin ger\u00e7e\u011fi nanoteknolojik kuma\u015ftan yap\u0131ld\u0131.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bilkent \u00dcniversitesi Nanoteknoloji Ara\u015ft\u0131rma Merkezi (NANOTAM) ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar\u0131, cisimleri belli frekanslarda g\u00f6r\u00fcnmez k\u0131lan nanoteknoloji tabanl\u0131 malzeme geli\u015ftirdi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;nin tek Descartes bilim \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fc sahibi olan Bilkent \u00dcniversitesi NANOTAM Ba\u015fkan\u0131 Prof. Dr. Ekmel \u00d6zbay&#8217;\u0131n ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 y\u00fcr\u00fctt\u00fc\u011f\u00fc projede doktora \u00f6\u011frencisi Atilla \u00d6zg\u00fcr \u00c7akmak taraf\u0131ndan geli\u015ftirilen \u201cg\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerini\u201d teknolojisi, askeri ara\u00e7lar\u0131n \u00fczerine kaplanacak bir metamalzeme sayesinde istenilen frekans band\u0131nda, tanklar\u0131n hatta havadaki u\u00e7aklar\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezli\u011fine olanak sa\u011fl\u0131yor. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>HARRY POTTER&#8217;IN VE FRODO&#8217;NUN G\u00d6R\u00dcNMEZL\u0130K PELER\u0130N\u0130 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Metamalzemeleri \u201cdo\u011fada kendili\u011finden var olmayan \u00f6zellikler g\u00f6sterebilen sihirli materyaller\u201d olarak tan\u0131mlayan G\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerininin temel \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma prensibi, J. K. Rowling&#8217;in romanlar\u0131ndaki Harry Potter ve Tolkien&#8217;in Y\u00fcz\u00fcklerin Efendisi roman\u0131ndaki kahraman\u0131 Frodo Baggins&#8217;in g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerinlerini hat\u0131rlat\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">G\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerininin roman boyunca bu kahramanlara d\u00fc\u015fmanlar\u0131n\u0131n g\u00f6zlerinden ve sezilerinden uzak, g\u00fcvenli bir ortam sundu\u011funu vurgulayan \u00d6zbay, \u00fclkelerin savunma sanayilerinin hedeflerinin yaln\u0131z filmlerde rastlanan bu teknolojilere benzer oldu\u011funu ifade etti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>HEDEF TAM G\u00d6R\u00dcNMEZL\u0130K <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">G\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerini, parazit ve g\u00fcr\u00fclt\u00fc olu\u015fturmad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan d\u00fcnya literat\u00fcr\u00fcne de pek \u00e7ok yenilik kat\u0131yor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prof. Dr. \u00d6zbay, son y\u0131llarda d\u00fcnyan\u0131n en \u00f6nde gelen ara\u015ft\u0131rma merkezlerinin, \u00fcniversitelerinin tam ve kesin bir g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezli\u011fe ula\u015fabilecek teknolojileri geli\u015ftirmeye odakland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade etti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu rekabete T\u00fcrk ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar olarak kendilerinin de kat\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 dile getiren \u00d6zbay, NANOTAM&#8217;da geli\u015ftirdikleri metamalzeme tabanl\u0131 \u201cg\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerinin\u201d d\u00fcnyadaki benzerlerine g\u00f6re yenilikler i\u00e7erdi\u011fini kaydetti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cG\u00f6rme\u201d ya da \u201calg\u0131lama\u201dn\u0131n, bir cisimden yay\u0131lan ya da \u00fczerine \u00e7arp\u0131p sa\u00e7\u0131lan elektromanyetik dalgalar\u0131n alg\u0131lay\u0131c\u0131lara geri d\u00f6nmesiyle ger\u00e7ekle\u015fen bir s\u00fcre\u00e7 oldu\u011funu anlatan \u00d6zbay, \u201cG\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik sa\u011flamak i\u00e7in yap\u0131lacak \u015fey, saklanacak cismin elektromanyetik dalgalar\u0131 sa\u00e7mas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nlemek, dalgalar\u0131n \u00e7arpmas\u0131n\u0131 engellemek ya da \u00e7arpan dalgalar\u0131n geli\u015fig\u00fczel sa\u00e7\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6nlemekle ger\u00e7ekle\u015febilir. Herhangi bir cismin \u00fczerine kaplanacak bu \u00f6zel pelerin sayesinde cisimler g\u00f6r\u00fcnmez k\u0131l\u0131nabiliniyor\u201d bilgisini verdi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cC\u0130S\u0130MLER &#8216;G\u00d6R\u00dcNMEZ&#8217; HALE GELEB\u0130LD\u0130\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Prof. Dr. \u00d6zbay, merkezde yapt\u0131klar\u0131 ba\u015far\u0131l\u0131 deneyde, al\u0131c\u0131 ve verici aras\u0131na konan metal bir silindirin elektromanyetik ifadelerle \u201cg\u00f6r\u00fcnmez\u201d k\u0131l\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 bildirdi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cG\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerini\u201d olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan tam g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezli\u011fin, teorik olarak uzayda ar\u0131nd\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015f bir b\u00f6lge yaratmakla m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirten \u00d6zbay, geli\u015ftirdikleri metamalzemelerle saklanmak istenilen cismin etraf\u0131 kapland\u0131\u011f\u0131nda cismi belli elektromanyetik dalgalar i\u00e7in g\u00f6r\u00fcnmez k\u0131lman\u0131n m\u00fcmk\u00fcn hale geldi\u011fini kaydetti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bilim \u00e7evrelerinde \u201chal\u0131n\u0131n alt\u0131na saklamak\u201d olarak isimlendirilen pelerinleme y\u00f6ntemi ile Bilkent \u00dcniversitesinde ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilen deneylerde radyo frekanslar\u0131nda bir metal silindirin elektromanyetik ifadelerle g\u00f6r\u00fcnmez hale getirildi\u011fini bildiren \u00d6zbay, \u015f\u00f6yle konu\u015ftu:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cNormalde metal bir y\u00fczeyin \u00fczerine gelen dalgalar\u0131 sa\u00e7\u0131l\u0131ma u\u011fratmas\u0131 ve hatta arkas\u0131nda g\u00f6lge b\u0131rakmas\u0131 beklenir. Oysa ki metal silindirin etraf\u0131na metamalzemeler kullan\u0131larak \u00f6r\u00fclen pelerin sayesinde elektromanyetik dalgalar\u0131n yollar\u0131na hi\u00e7 bir bozulma ya\u015famaks\u0131z\u0131n devam etmesi sa\u011fland\u0131. Bu \u00e7e\u015fit bir sistemi d\u0131\u015far\u0131dan elektromanyetik dalgalar yard\u0131m\u0131 ile tarayan bir okuyucunun ortaya yerle\u015ftirilen metal silindiri fark etmesi imkans\u0131zla\u015ft\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cULUSLARARASI L\u0130TERAT\u00dcRDE T\u00dcRK BA\u015eARISI\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">T\u00fcrkiye&#8217;nin bu \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ile birlikte g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerinini \u00fcretme teknolojisine eri\u015febilen ABD ve iki Avrupa Birli\u011fi \u00fcyesi \u00fclkenin ard\u0131ndan 4. \u00fclke konumuna geldi\u011fini bildiren \u00d6zbay, \u201cBilim merkezleri aras\u0131nda bir rekabete olanak sa\u011flayan bu yar\u0131\u015f nefes kesici. M\u00fckemmel g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezli\u011fi elde etmek i\u00e7in s\u00fcrekli geli\u015ftirilen ve g\u00fcncellenen yeni tasar\u0131lar\u0131n sanayiye ve askeri kullan\u0131mlara uyarlanmas\u0131ysa tahmin edilenden daha k\u0131sa s\u00fcrede ger\u00e7ekle\u015fecek\u201d dedi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ar-Ge \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n bu y\u0131l\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda \u201cNew Journal of Physics\u201d dergisinde yay\u0131mlanarak literat\u00fcre girdi\u011fini bildiren \u00d6zbay, g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik deneyine dair detayl\u0131 bilgilerin pop\u00fcler bilim dergisi \u201cNTV Bilim\u201din A\u011fustos say\u0131s\u0131nda yay\u0131mland\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ASKER\u0130 \u00dcST\u00dcNL\u00dcK SA\u011eLAYACAK <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">G\u00f6r\u00fcnmezli\u011fin, bu teknolojiyi elinde tutabilen \u00fclkelere \u00fcst\u00fcn istihbarat yetileri kazand\u0131raca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 dile getiren \u00d6zbay, bunun \u00e7ok uzakta olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d6zbay, s\u00f6zlerini \u015f\u00f6yle s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fc:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAskeri ara\u00e7lar\u0131n \u00fczerine \u00f6r\u00fclecek bir pelerin sayesinde istenilen frekans band\u0131nda, tanklar\u0131n hatta havadaki u\u00e7aklar\u0131n bile g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezli\u011fine olanak sa\u011flanabilecek. Pelerin g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik teknolojilerinde kullan\u0131lan \u00f6rneklerinin aksine herhangi bir ekstra yay\u0131n yaparak parazit olu\u015fturma ve d\u00fc\u015fman\u0131n akl\u0131n\u0131 kar\u0131\u015ft\u0131rmaya ihtiya\u00e7 duymad\u0131\u011f\u0131ndan elektromanyetik a\u00e7\u0131dan herhangi bir g\u00fcr\u00fclt\u00fc yaratmas\u0131na gerek kalmayacak. Arac\u0131 kumanda eden askeri personel i\u00e7in \u00e7ok daha sa\u011fl\u0131kl\u0131 bir se\u00e7im olabilecek.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c7al\u0131\u015fmam\u0131zda mevcut y\u00f6ntemleri daha da ileriye ta\u015f\u0131d\u0131k. Eskiden havada as\u0131l\u0131 kalan cisimler g\u00f6r\u00fcnmez k\u0131l\u0131nmakla u\u011fra\u015f\u0131l\u0131rken \u015fimdi karada duran bir tank\u0131 da g\u00f6r\u00fcnmez k\u0131lmak m\u00fcmk\u00fcn hale gelecek.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cG\u00d6LGE SORUNU DA ORTADAN KALKTI\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d6zbay, d\u00fcnyadaki mevcut g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerini \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n hen\u00fcz kesin bir g\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik sa\u011flayabildi\u011fini s\u00f6ylemenin m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olmad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirterek, \u015funlar\u0131 kaydetti:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSo\u011furulan elektromanyetik dalgalar, yerlerinde n\u00fcfuz edilememi\u015f hareketli bir g\u00f6lge b\u0131rak\u0131yor. G\u00f6r\u00fcnmez k\u0131l\u0131nmak istenen cisme g\u00f6nderilen elektromanyetik dalgalar\u0131 yans\u0131tmamak ve sa\u00e7\u0131l\u0131ma u\u011fratmamak art\u0131k tek ama\u00e7 de\u011fil; ana hedef, bu arada arkada herhangi bir g\u00f6lge de b\u0131rakmamak. \u0130\u015fin as\u0131l zor k\u0131sm\u0131 bu. Bu s\u00f6ylenilenler do\u011frultusunda ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftirilebilecek bir pelerinin \u00e7ok maliyetli olaca\u011f\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fclebilir. Oysa s\u00f6zkonusu yap\u0131lar tamamen yal\u0131tkan ve metallerden olu\u015fuyor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c7ok ufak boyutlardaki yap\u0131ta\u015flar\u0131ndan olu\u015facak pelerin, bu boyutlardaki imalat tekniklerinin geli\u015fmi\u015fli\u011finin getirdi\u011fi y\u00fcksek \u00fcretim h\u0131z\u0131 ve hammaddesinin kolay temini ile gelen ucuzluk sayesinde \u015fu anda yayg\u0131n tekniklerden \u00e7ok daha az maliyetli olacak.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cMANZARAYI BOZAN A\u011eA\u00c7 G\u00d6R\u00dcNMEZ YAPILAB\u0130LECEK\u201d <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">G\u00f6r\u00fcnmezlik pelerininin sivil uygulama alanlar\u0131n\u0131n da bulunaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 aktaran \u00d6zbay, v\u00fccudunda metalik implant ya da kalp pili ta\u015f\u0131yanlar\u0131n da bu teknoloji ile g\u00fcvenle MRI&#8217;a girmesinin sa\u011flanabilece\u011fini s\u00f6yledi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00d6zbay, medikal cihazlar\u0131n pelerinlenmesinin al\u0131\u015fveri\u015f merkezlerinde, havalimanlar\u0131 gibi g\u00fcvenlik kontrol noktalar\u0131nda da i\u015fleri h\u0131zland\u0131raca\u011f\u0131n\u0131, hastalar\u0131n s\u00fcrekli bir a\u00e7\u0131klama getirmek durumunda kalmayaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 dile getirdi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cep telefonu sinyallerinin rotalar\u0131n\u0131 engellerden en az etkilenecek \u015fekilde y\u00f6nlendirmenin de bu teknoloji ile m\u00fcmk\u00fcn olaca\u011f\u0131n\u0131 kaydeden \u00d6zbay, \u015f\u00f6yle konu\u015ftu:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cRota \u00fczerinde bulunan co\u011frafi engeller elektromanyetik dalgalar i\u00e7in \u00f6l\u00fcmc\u00fcl olabiliyor. Bir dalga k\u0131lavuzu rol\u00fcn\u00fc \u00fcstlenecek olan pelerinleme teknikleri sayesinde bilgi ta\u015f\u0131yan dalgalar\u0131m\u0131z\u0131 istedi\u011fimiz do\u011frultularda ve nispeten az kay\u0131plarla y\u00f6nlendirebilece\u011fiz.
